You might have gathered already that Code54 Managing Director Barry Hollywood has an obvious passion for golf but he is also an avid music lover. He has been a professional DJ since 1999 and has now been making music productions for over 10 years in the studio. DJ earnings enabled Barry to pursue his golf playing career as long as he did. He first started as a mobile DJ, performing at birthday parties, weddings and other functions.
After a couple of years learning the trade, he started his own independent agency employing other DJ’s and won contracts to branch out into in store promotions for high street chains such Phones 4 U & HMV. As Barry slowly built his reputation as a mixing DJ, he eventually progressed into residency work for bars & nightclubs, firstly around Ayrshire in Scotland and then in Dublin, Ireland where he spent 5 years. Barry has held residencies or performed at many iconic venues including:
